Privacy Policy
張文銓 is the controller of personal data handled by LingoPair. This policy explains why and how we process it.
1. Data we collect
Account and contact details, tutor application and review data, student inquiry and trial messages, payment identifiers and status, consent records, security logs, and information you provide to support. LingoPair does not store full card numbers; PayPal processes payment credentials.
2. Why we use data
To create and protect accounts, review tutors, provide contact and trial flows, process payments, refunds and disputes, meet legal and tax duties, prevent abuse and improve the service.
3. Sharing and international processing
We share data only as needed with the student or tutor you choose to contact, PayPal, hosting and database providers, security or analytics providers, and authorities legally entitled to receive it. A global service may process data outside your location.
4. Retention and security
We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service, handle disputes, and meet accounting, tax or legal duties. We use reasonable access controls, encrypted transport, role separation and backups, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
5. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, a copy of your data, or withdrawal of consent. Some records may need to be retained for payment, dispute, tax or security duties.
